These are the CEA Seville Staff members…. Nice to meet you!!
Víctor González – Seville Director
¡Saludos! My name is Victor and I am excited to welcome you to an exciting study journey. I was born in Cuba and grew up in New York city. Like you will be doing this semester, I studied abroad in Spain many years ago and still hold very fond memories of all the experiences (positive and not so positive) that I was afforded during my days as a study abroad student. As the Director of the CEA Seville Center, I have been working with the entire staff to ensure that we will deliver a successful program for you. I encourage you to engage with all aspects of the program and get to know the fine team of professionals and faculty we have arranged. I look forward to getting to know you and being available to hear of your personal objectives and how things transpire.
Mary Alice Soriero – Academic Director
Hello everyone! I’m Mary Alice. Many years ago I left my home state of Pennsylvania to work and learn about the world. After traveling and working in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand, I returned to PA to pursue my MS in Education. But the travel bug went viral and after graduating I headed to Peru to work, only to find myself moving two years later to Spain. I have lived and worked here since 1998 teaching topics regarding language learning and intercultural studies. As the Academic Director I will be in charge of the smooth running and upholding the academic excellence we wholeheartedly work to achieve. I trust you will learn a lot this session both in your classes and applying what you have learned to your daily life. Live, learn, grow and ENJOY!!
