These are the CEA Seville Staff members…. Nice to meet you!!

Víctor González – Seville Director

Victor¡Saludos!  My name is Victor and I am excited to welcome you to an exciting study journey.  I was born in Cuba and grew up in New York city.  Like you will be doing this semester, I studied abroad in Spain many years ago and still hold very fond memories of all the experiences (positive and not so positive) that I was afforded during my days as a study abroad student.  As the Director of the CEA Seville Center, I have been working with the entire staff to ensure that we will deliver a successful program for you.  I encourage you to engage with all aspects of the program and get to know the fine team of professionals and faculty we have arranged.  I look forward to getting to know you and being available to hear of your personal objectives and how things transpire.

michaelaHey everyone! My name is Michaela and I am originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota. I studied Biology and Anthropology at Luther College in Iowa. After graduating from college in 2012, I moved to Spain with the intention to teach English in a small pueblo for one year. However as it often does, one year turned into four and after falling in love with Sevilla and the Spanish language, I made my new home here in Spain. I love the people, food and atmosphere of this city, and I can´t wait to share it all with you! Welcome to your new “home”!!

alvaro¡Hola! My name is Álvaro, I am from Almería but I really love living in Seville. I am a journalist and I also work as a radio announcer in Canal Sur Radio for a cultural program about the symphonic music of Andalucia including their history and personal stories. I really enjoy working in multicultural environments and also love foreign languages, such as English and Italian. During my free time, I love playing the guitar and the trombone, composing music, writing, watching movies and tv series, going to the theatre, travelling and meeting new people from all around the world. I also practice Zen meditation every day. My favorite country in Europe is Italy, especially their food and way of life. My current goal is to learn a new language: German.
